Please read pages 28 through 87 (there are lots of pictures, y'all) from Darwin's The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals, it is linked HERE. Think about what you're reading in terms of the acute observations that he is making, his methodology, and, finally, the writing. How does the way that he writes affect the meaning and your impression of the text?
